Pura Vida

SUMMER IN IRELAND

WHAT A GREAT AND SUNNY WEEKEND! Truly Pura Vida!
I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the Yellow Object on the Sky :) and the Before- Physically-Unknown, by me and most of us, Blue Liquid all around Ireland.
This pic was circulating on FB which made us laugh:

I have been in Ireland for 8 years and it was my first ever experience to wet my hair in the Irish Sea. I mean really...I even swam under the water..I have to admit that my breathing was not that synchronised to do more than two breaststrokes in a row, due to some Celsius matter, but I was happy enough not to be a 'sea-virgin' anymore considering I live in an Island. By the way I love water so it was a little embarrassing :)...
There are 4 people in this pic I am the smallest spot in the water:)

BY THE WAY, WATER

Here is the Quote of the Week:
'Do not forget to put the cup down!'

''A psychologist was walking in the hall, while he taught stress management to his audience When he picked up the cup, everyone expected the usual half-empty or half-full question. Instead, he smiled and asked:- How heavy is this glass of water?  Responses ranged from couple of grams to a pound.
The psychologist replied:
''- The actual weight is not important, it depends on how long you hold it in your hand.
It's easy to hold for a minute.
If I hold it for an hour-long, my arm will hurt.
If I hold it for one day, my arms will go numb and paralyzed.
In neither case changes the weight of the glass of water, but the longer it last, the harder it will be.''
He continued: -In our life, stress and anxiety are like this glass of water.
Think of them for a while, and nothing happens. Think of them for a little longer and they start to hurt, and if you think about them all day, you become numb, you will be unable to do anything about it. It is important to let your troubles go away! In the evening, as soon as possible, put down all your burdens, do not take them with you on the night!
Do not forget to put the cup down!''

Think about it and start practising!:) ...and drink plenty..of water as well..
Kind regards,
Andrea

pPura Vida

''Spanish for "pure life."

''The law of the land in Costa Rica. The expression is used in many forms, from a greeting, to a synonym for "excellent." Ticos follow this lifestyle and are some of the most wonderful people on earth. A synonym of "hakuna matata." Life is wonderful; enjoy it.''
"Pura vida!" (Damn right!)

"Que Me 'Ice Mae, Pura Vida?" (What's up dude, all good?)''

''Pura Vida is a phrase that came to characterize modern Costa Rican culture. It literally means Pure Life, however, the 'real' or 'cultural' meaning is closer to "plenty of life", "full of life", "this is living!", "going great", "real living". This phrase can be used in many ways, as an answer to a variety of social circumstances. For example, it can be used both as a greeting or a farewell, as an answer expressing that things are going well, or as a way of giving thanks.''

''The all knowing wikipedia has the following translation.  Pura Vida (POO-rah VEE-dah), used by Costa Ricans since 1956, literally translated means “Pure Life.” Contextually, it means “Full of Life” “Purified life”, “This is living!”, “Going great!” It is used as a greeting, a farewell, and to express satisfaction. The phrase has become widely known in the USA and Europe. Some foreigners view the phrase as an expression of a leisurely lifestyle, of disregard for time and wanton friendliness. However, Costa Ricans use the phrase to express a philosophy of strong community, perseverance, good spirits, enjoying life slowly, celebrating good fortune, whether small or large.”

Mademoiselle:- This page is created to show how we can live up to this phrase. It can be a philosophy how to enjoy life in a healthy way. We will give some tips in many area in our life.

Let us start with some holiday tips... My partner and myself enjoyed a beautiful time last year in a nice hidden paradise. It can be found in Andalusia, the place called Canos de Meca.
We could enjoy the relaxing time by the pool surrounded by rich tropical vegetation. The owner and the staff are so friendly. You better to be an animal lover. Among the staff there are two security ''elements'' they are on duty all the time and definitely pay a visit when you are having your meal...here they are..:

The bungalows were neat and all are separated well to feel to be alone in a beautiful little 'island'.  Guess what it is called?... Pura Vida...I have to admit this experience, I mean the memories, inspired me to start this page in our website.
Please take a look on the website below and try to dream about a lovely holiday. And as we know if we wish something and try to picture it more and more realistic...dreams can come true:)
